Truett lives in Rockwell NC with his wife and two children. He is currently a manager at a chain of car detailing centers. Truett has been a sports fisherman for quite some time now and thru his experiences around water, became curious about duck hunting. When a friend invited him on a local duck hunt he jumped at the chance. 1 box of shells later (and not cutting a feather) he was hooked. Through duck hunting Truett became interested in the finer details of calling and worked very hard to be able to compete on the stage with some of the best. Though he is new to the calling circuit he has a few wins under his belt but there is more to come from this qualified contest caller. Truett only gets to hunt 1 day a week due to his job but still enjoys the time in the blind with friends and the memories that are made will last a life time. He always has a smile on his face and is willing to help others work on their calling abilities. Now, knowing that Truett WAS a big fisherman might help to explain the one thing that sticks in his head still today. A friend once told him, "If you start duck hunting, you`ll forget about fishing." He thought the friend was crazy then, but now....Truett`s a waterfowler through and thru.
If your looking for help blowing a duck call, then Truett is you man.

Matt lives in the small town of Gold Hill NC and works full time for McKenzie taxedermy supplies. Matt started hunting squirrels, deer and fishing with his father at the age of 5. He lived on the NC coast for a few years where he worked as a first mate during high school and enjoyed going out to catch the big ones. Moving back to Gold Hill, Matt took up duck hunting with his friends and has since become a true avid waterfowler. He still enjoys deer hunting from time to time to put meat in the freezer but when duck season is open, Matt is either in the blind or scouting. Hunting only public waters Matt always says, "most of the time being on the X is the critical part". Matt believes that hunting public water makes you a better hunter because you have to scout more, hunt harder and practice your calling to stay ahead of the game, it`s not like getting up and heading to an impoundment and waiting for legal shooting time. You really need to know your stuff.
Matt is also one of our comp callers and has done pretty well for himself. Like the rest of us he`s always happy to help out a new or seasoned caller.

Chris resides in High Point , North Carolina with his wife and 3 dogs. Chris and his wife are in the mortgage business which allows him the flexibility to hunt 3 days a week or more during season. At an early age, Chris developed his passion for hunting and the outdoors. Coming from a non-hunting family Chris relied on a friend and his family to take him hunting and because he lived in the country he was able to take what he learned and apply it on his own. Hunting and fishing every chance he could as a youngster Chris’s passion for the outdoors has been deeply ingrained. Chris hunts everything from doves and quail to deer, wild boar and turkeys, but his true passion is ducks. Chris says, “There’s just something about hunting ducks that is different from hunting everything else. Setting the decoy spread, building the blind, the comradery and being able to talk them into your spread is what makes me want to get up at 0 dark thirty and chase them every chance I get”. What keeps him going is the never ending learning curve that comes with hunting ducks. He says, “Every day is different and you better be ready to adapt to the conditions or your success rate will suffer”. Not having the luxury of hunting private impoundments and being limited to primarily public waters has taught Chris the importance of setting himself apart from the crowds.
